Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LYFTER collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the LYFTER iOS app and getlyfter.com.

Information we collect

Account information

When you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an account identifier and, depending on your Apple settings, your name and email address or Apple relay email. Authentication is provided through Apple and Supabase.

Workout and profile information

LYFTER stores workout history, profile preferences, body weight, goals, training location, rest-timer settings, and your chosen profile image on your device. Workout summaries and profile context may be sent to our service when you request an exercise recommendation.

Imported content

If you import a workout plan, we store the uploaded document, extracted routine, custom exercises, and exercise images in Supabase. Imported documents are processed by OpenAI to extract structured workout information.

Website information

If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit. We do not use advertising trackers in the LYFTER app.

How we use information

• Provide authentication and sync your saved routines.
• Import and organize workout plans.
• Generate exercise recommendations you request.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve LYFTER.
• Respond to support requests and important service notices.

Service providers

We share information only as needed to operate LYFTER:

• Apple provides Sign in with Apple.
• Supabase provides authentication, database, storage, and server functions.
• OpenAI processes imported plans and recommendation requests.
• Vercel hosts getlyfter.com.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-app advertising.

Retention and deletion

Account data is retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can permanently delete your account in LYFTER under Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account. This removes your LYFTER account, cloud routines, imported plans, and uploaded exercise images. The app also removes workout history, profile settings, and the profile image stored on that device.

You may also contact us through the support page for privacy or deletion help. Limited records may be retained when legally required or necessary to prevent fraud and abuse.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access and row-level database controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children

LYFTER is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as LYFTER changes. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date.
